Cotter Bass is an 88-year-old author, photographer, retired architect, and former U.S. Marine. Cotter and his wife, Violet, have been married for more than 67 years and currently reside in Greenwood, Indiana. Cotter enjoys the outdoors, especially fishing and golf. In addition to writing, much of his time is spent pursuing trout and bass, playing golf, and photography.
Cotter has been writing
for more than 60 years. While the majority of his early work targeted fishing
and other outdoor subjects, including treasure hunting, Cotter presently
directs most of his nonfiction writing and publishing efforts toward historical
subjects, especially World War One.
